@@rayman9118 no, absolutely not. its just that when you compare the two Steves to each other: This one has more depth and better animation but only a single soundtrack and Sakurai's has multiple soundtracks from Minecraft, a fun but simple mechanic with lots of jank potential and a more accurate model of the character.

Consider the numerous items in this iteration of steve's moveset that work and function almost flawlessly to the canon mechanics compared to smash's iteration that had to remove or tone down some elements. Both are equally great,but one has alot more polish and balance while the other has a more accurate moveset to how steve fights.

@@brosiyeah On paper it sounds really cool honestly, each stage having different things. But in reality some of the stages that you can mine on don't really make sense. And it's just the same thing. Just different looking blocks. All that they can change is breaking your pickaxe. They really shouldve done more with the resources that werent just iron, gold, and diamond. The other resources are just used for tnt, spawning a table, and placing blocks. They also shoulve made it so the other things that were used to mine could also be used as a weapon.

The joys of working on your own "Smash" character before they actually become a character in Smash. I guess I should download/buy the game and get working on my Banjo/Kazooie idea (even though Banjo and Kazooie have been in Smash for a while now) where they could actually split up, Banjo would use all his "pack" moves, and Kazooie wouldn't be limited to just regular eggs in front and Grenade Eggs in the back.
