I’ve only ever once had a gate, 17 I think it was, right opposite the duty free area. It’s equally tiring having to walk for ages to the exit on arrival or finding the electronic gates closed late evening, having to join incredible long queues to get my passport stamped, by the single officer on duty. Anyway, welcome back in the grey zone I.e.UK. I’d swap with you anytime . Lol

You don't usually fly to Birmingham, that's our local airport. 😂

We were going up to Stoke so it is convenient for that. Anita also has family in Birmingham so we had an opportunity to see them.

Airports a nightmare, even worse if your flying to the UK as normally they fly from right at the end of the airport hike is not the word for it. Plus now they are yet again working that end of the airport.

There will be a lot of changes for next summer.
