Loving the videos Steve. Would love if you included costings, if it's not being nosey. Purchase price + labour + parts, would be good to get some idea, for anyone thinking of doing something similar. I can only imagine there are some pretty big bills. I just bought a very good condition 2002 L322, but it's still going to cost me €2,500 - €3,000 to do little bits to the body and change some lights and interior bits. Good luck with the rest of the project.

You should have bought new innerwings. At Froggatts. Keeping original steel, haha. Its now a complete puzzle under the bonnet. Take yje wings off and fit new innerwings.
@stevebooker
@stevebooker 3 жыл бұрын
New wings are patent wings and the fit is never as good as original, you can spend days faffing around with trying to get the the fit like the original. This is a restoration so we are trying to keep as much of the original vehicle as possible. In terms of a puzzle under the bonnet, this isn’t patch welded, it’s rebuilt so it will have the same look as it did when it came out of the factory, not a puzzle. Keep following along and watch the progress on this to see what I mean.
