Made for the Hardware Jams Weekend Challenge - So the challenge idea would be to create a jam with mallet percussions (handpans, spacedrums, tongue drums, anything really) as your main element. You can use samples or you can try to synthesise them with FM, Noise and EG’s. Any genres, any bpm as long as the predominant elements are mallets.
Back in my ho,me studio in Prague for this video. I'm super happy with this set up and I'm half way through a new live set!
I mainly used the Twisted Electrons MEGA fm to create some FM metalic hammer sounds and also a Dulcimer sample later in the track. The Digitakt is sequencing the TR-06 and the 2 synths and the Octatrack is purely on performance mixer duties.
I've got some more Mixing Table collaborations in the pipeline so watch this space!
