It seems every week there is a new favourite amp or product, I can’t believe one can truly judge so many products in such a short time. I did pull the trigger on your recommendation of the Luxman L590 AXII a while back. Love Love It… That perfect piece of gear is never leaving my rack. 🤓

My personal faves are always here long term. I have three rooms full of gear. Including luxman, klipsch, Yamaha, pass labs, and all kinds of gear. I do reviews and only review what I enjoy or would buy/own. If I speak highly of something it means I love it. There is tons of gear to love and tons to hate. The junk, I don’t talk about. Rather I send it back with a “no thanks”. I have enough gear here now to build four full systems. I enjoy it all. Sometimes I rotate out and back in. So not sure what the complaint is. Just because I review all kinds of gear and enjoy what I review? I have faves from many manufactures. I still have a 590axii! Enjoy the Yamaha 3200 more though. I have and keep tons of audio gear due to the fact that I do reviews. If I didn’t, I’d sell most of it and keep one system and that would be it :) I get new gear in weekly, so lucky me. I get to have tons of fun.

Demo Album Track; A 1966 recording of Max Roach - Drums Unlimited. 1st track “The Drum Also Waltzes” on this solo listen for that beautiful rich warmth of Roach’s now vintage sound Gretsch drums with his older well tarnished Zildjian cymbals. An excellent natural dry recording direct to tape without reverb or compression. Perfect dynamics as played by Max’s sensitive feel. Move to track 2 “Nommo” listen for that beautiful swoosh of Max’s brush playing against Matthew’s string bass. A very clean recording. All tracks are worth a listen. Audiophiles who love clean string double bass recording should love the lack of mushy artificial low end. Qobuz has both the stereo and mono pressing. Enjoy

They are really onto something important with their background noise reduction theories. It sounds far fetched when you first hear it, but when you listen to their products, you can immediately hear there is something different here.

Love your review. ❤ honest and personal. You are not forcing anyone to buy anything. I love that. I am engineer myself so it is tough to pay above 10k for any speakers. Except they weight 80 pounds and have builtin amplifier with dsp. 😅😅😅. Why?

Great review! Need to look into Axxess. Have you seen or heard of Orchard Audio? They make amps using GaN FET Class D and mono blocks as well. Very intriguing. Made USA (NJ).

Wow! You are showing us the cutting-edge of audio equipment. I am looking forward to your review of the Axxess Forte 1. We are hoping its sound is close to the Daniel Hertz Maria, which is outside of our budget. You do a fantastic job! Thank you.

Look at the gato 400s i have him now one week and it is an amazing amp. In the past i am playing wit cello ( M.L ) krell and conrad johnson. But this amp the gato sounds better and much cheaper. They are using the same modules like daniel hertz,aavik and jeff rowland. Mine speakers are the magnepan 1.7i and it sounds great,open,space,fast, clarity and instrumental low NO subwoofer low what is awful.

@@henriksrensen3220Hi Henrik. All I could really compare it to is a Rega Aethos. It has a super tight bass. Neutral but open midrange. Airy and detailed treble. Lovely black background. Soundstage generally beyond the speakers. Nice depth too. It does show off character of any front end system e.g. Turntable. I also love the transparency without it sounding analytical.
@ryansudding6679 ай бұрын
Scansonic MB5B'S. They are 4 ohm, but often dip to 2.8 ohms. They are pretty hungry speakers, especially to keep control of the bass. It made a huge difference coming from my Rega Aethos.

Axxess Forté 1 - All-in-One Player over the Luxman L-590AXII? Luxman is pure analog amp, MSRP: $9.495. I own Luxman L550AX (Class A), great sounding with Quad ESL-63, better than one of the Hegel amp and the others.
