I'm an introvert. It was hell. My parents are elderly and lived in NYC, I was terrified for them, and completely helpless living across the country. A family friend died, not from COVID, but because of complications after she broke her arm and couldn't get medical help for days because the hospitals were too overwhelmed to see anyone but COVID cases. I was stuck in a tiny studio apartment, unemployed, terrified, and completely alone. I can stay home and binge TV anytime, I don't need permission. Nothing about this was fun.

Honestly that point of view of telling anti vaxers we don’t want to share our vaccines with them (Bc we barely have enough for those who want it and why would we give it to the people who don’t care and don’t wear masks) is actually a great way of thinking lmfaooo, bc knowing those type of people they’ll be like ‘well now I want it ! What do you mean I can’t have it ! Give it to me!’🤣
@Boomstick4life Жыл бұрын
.....what?
@TheEmerald524 Жыл бұрын
Umm yeah, no. One might think that, but it’s not the case with this particular vax. The people who didn’t want it to begin with, most certainly are not going to want it now. That’s a well established fact at this point. The ones who believed it was to implant tracking devices, have in no way had their fears alleviated. The ones who were on the fence in regards to the efficacy, have not had their fears/doubts reassured with the passage of time. Safety concerns have only grown, not diminished.

On the mask section of the video in particular- I have what my doctors describe as "Severe Adult Athsma" this means a few different things for me in particular, but in the simplest terms I can find it means: Sometimes for a variety of reasons my wind pipe just decides to close. When that happens, I can't breathe. It has more than once almost killed me. I understand better than anyone how an obstacle like a mask in front of your airways is scary, and can cause panic. I've had panic attacks brought on by the fear of not being able to breathe. But he is RIGHT! Wearing the mask is so important! More so when this video was made, but still important now any time we're in a facility that still requires it. Because those places are filled with people like ME! People with conditions that make the possibility of catching covid a LIFE or DEATH FEAR! I do still wear a mask when I'm going to the doctor for an ear infection, despite it causing me minor wheezing. Because my mother and I want to live. (She's high risk too) So please, I know it's scary. I've been there. We can do it though, together. Please.
@narliehs1648Ай бұрын
Agreed. My sister and little nephew are both high-risk, too. Severe asthma and immunocompromised to boot. Getting Covid for them is basically a death sentence.

I found an online church during the situation, and I'm still attending it, because I don't have a church in walking distance. I still remember my dad bringing me groceries because I was high risk for my feet psoriasis and the injection, I'm on. I got the vaccine as soon as possible. And I never got it.

I know you're joking about slipping them money (or at least I hope you are), but I'd never give a drunk/drug user or a homeless person money. I'd rather not be responsible for, nor contribute to, their death. If they're obviously homeless then I'll buy them a hot drink, or a sandwich, or even a meal (I've done this many times), but never money.
