Two quick questions: 1) When you do N&W/Strasburg #475, do you plan to use her shop-made 3 chime as well as her hooter whistles? I'm just curious because I, personally, prefer her 3 chime over the hooters. 2) When you do the NYC 20th Century Limited, do you plan to model the Hudsons with Boxpox or disc drivers? Just curious.
@MrSonicthehedgehog316 жыл бұрын
razgrizaceblaze259 I think 475 can have between her 8 inch and 12 inch hooter whistle along with LIRR 39’s 3 chime Whistle but when he makes 382 he should add two whistles to 382 since the 382 photo charter in 2017.

Railfan487 hypothetically yes. An SOU engine bought by a western lumber line and rebuilt to suit their needs and modified to look more western.
@jomama056 жыл бұрын
So, did you start with the southern 630, and re dress it, and end up with the Eagle River 50? Because the boiler tender and valve gear look very similar. It is very awesome.
@jacobwoods87386 жыл бұрын
Nothere27 The excerpt says it is a former SOU engine, but never modernised (which e plains the high bell but not the bolt ons). The tender looks more like Frisco 1630’s.

QsK Reavis 90 is a real engine he also made. 50 is a hypothetical engine that lives on a shortline, but is ex-SOU. Think 630 but sold out west and rebuilt to be more like a Lake Superior & Ishpeming loco (even though TVRM and NCTM would never let an SOU loco get out west, and be rebuilt into something it wasn't).
