As Genius as he was, I think Kubrick could recognize Spielbergs greatness in the Sci-Fi genre enough to alter his full vision for a collab with Steven.

Grazie for the vid, Nessuno! Was always curious about the degree of collaboration in A.I., and as Spielberg said, "I didn't take the job on as a 'charity case'. Stanley's wife, Christiane also seems like a pretty remarkable individual in her own right, not only raising a family while married to an obsessive artistic genius, who's periodically away on projects lasting years... and even at the end, still having the task of wrapping up his no doubt complicated life, and dealing with his legacy afterwards. Love, devotion, duty, simple survival... though whatever the reasons, still uncommon qualities, especially in our age of 'impermanence'.

AI the movie. It started out in hell and ended in heaven. This would be the Hollywood collaboration of all time. We’re it that it could have happened more than once. Kubrick uses Spielberg to achieve his goals. Spielberg learns new tricks from the master. They both agree to the arrangement. This doesn’t happen very often. Stanley may you rest in peace. Your movies never will.

Back in the good ol’ days when filmmaking was more about making art than money. Kubrick is rolling in his grave right now over how sh*tty the whole film industry has become today.

At 22:12, Steven said it took him a long time to understand what happenned (with respect to Stanley's passing)...that tells you right there, that he was murdered!!! Another talented artist taken from us by the dark Cabal.
