One of the most celebrated artists in Contemporary Christian Music, singer-songwriter Steven Curtis Chapman boasts an impressive list of industry achievements: more than 10 million records sold, 56 Dove Awards (more than any other artist), five Grammys, and 45 No. 1 radio singles. Inspired by Steven's 714, the Steven Curtis Chapman Signature Model (SCCSM) features Indian rosewood back and sides, a tobacco sunburst cedar top, and Indian rosewood binding. The inlay design is a recreation of a drawing that Chapman's daughter Maria made. The headstock inlay is a flower with a single petal colored in blue, while the fretboard design features a mother-of-pearl butterfly in at the 12th fret, accompanied by the word "SEE" in Maria's handwriting. Pearl fret marker dots are aligned along the bass side. Other features include an abalone rosette, abalone-dotted bridge pins, and Taylor Expression System® electronics. Each SCCSM comes with a custom guitar label and a certificate of authenticity personally signed by Chapman.

He’s the reason I learned guitar. The dude is a guitar legend but unintentionally hides it until you see him play in person. Even at his shows he tries to avoid upstaging the other musicians. Just a great dude and an amazing artist.

I am a guitarist from Chile, blessed to have been born in a Christian home, youth leader, guitarist of an international Christian group, who lost their way. Successful in what he could be professionally, he worked in the largest company in the world with a leading position in Latam, but in the end he lost his way. Your letters and your testimony, as well as the word of the Lord that my parents gave me since I was a child, allowed me to see how wrong I was. Today I pick up the guitar just to relax and remember the blessing that God long ago gave me to play for him. Saw him on the tour with 3rd Day (incredible), and also saw him in VA Beach on his solo tour (no other backing musicians, just him - also incredible, especially when he took requests from the audience for about 55 minutes). He is incredibly inspiring and his music is definitely ministry.
