Why just Miracle of Istanbul? 2006 FA Final, 3 - 3, Gerrard : assist, scored, scored after 2 - 0 down.. Its not a big stage to many but to me, FA cup is 2nd best championship because it’s English football, 2nd highest amount of competitors between clubs.

Gerrard was a Liverpool legend, a loyal to his club and loved by everyone even by rival fans. He was known for his long range shots (obviously). He also contributed greatly to one of the greatest comebacks in a final beating lefendary Milan after being down 3-0 in first half

The big game goals were the last three. The third from the end was a last gasp goal that got Liverpool through in the Champions League (biggest club competition in World football) when they were about to get knocked out the last year that they went on to win the competition. The last goal shown was him scoring in the actual final of that competition when everyone thought Liverpool were dead and buried as they were 3-0 down. That goal sparked a comeback with the game ending 3-3 and Liverpool winning via a penalty shootout. The second to last goal was the next season in the FA Cup Final (the biggest domestic cup competition in England). Liverpool were about to lose and he popped up with a pile-driver in injury time to level the score and again Liverpool won the cup via a penalty shootout. I'd have included his goal against Germany for England. What you can't tell from this is video is that he was a box-to-box midfielder (before he got old), equally good at shooting, passing, crossing, tackling and inspiring everyone around him. You could play him anywhere on the pitch and you'd think it was his natural position, though I never saw him in goal - LOL. I've not seen any other player as versatile as him. eg He wound up at Right Back in the Champions League final, as cover for players who were struggling and effectively snuffed out the opposition threat down that wing better than the defender he replaced there.

u have to react to champions league final 2005. that is the best comeback in club football history. that comeback was inspired by steven gerrad as his team was 3-0 down and they scored 3 goals back and won on penalties. The barca comeback had more goals but that was on two matches and it was not a final.

The last goal not the best of his, but we(liverpool) was 3 nill down in the European Champion league final, that was the first gaol back, that we went on to win the game. (2005) No3 iir, against Olympiacos, we needed to win that game by 2 goals to go through the other knock out stages of the ECL (same years as no1 goal) Goal 2, was the FA cup final, we was being beat by one goal, and was in added on time. Again Stevie score, and took us on to win it. (2006) He not long retired after a long careers at Liverpool from about 12 to 32 (ish) spending his final season at LA galaxy. Now back at Liverpool learning his trade as a coach.

The only other attacking midfielder with such a killer instinct for goal with long range shots was Paul Scholes arriving in the box. Sorry Scousers but Scholes arriving in the gap between midfield and the box was pretty darn impressive. Still give Gerrard the edge because of the amount of vital goals he scored that turned matches around. He had a will power....

3:36 yeah the referee will surely penalized you by giving a yellow card. But it was against a manchester united in the league cup final. 4:22 you reacted like a tongue service. Actually the commentator was saying 'oh! What about that! Only Steven Gerrard can do it!'. 4:41 Champions League and they need a goal to qualify the next round. He scored in the last minute. 4:57 FA Cup final and in the dying minutes. 5:15 he scored and boosted his team mates and fans. Cause he know they can can win the European cup even though they were 3_0 down. And yes they won it.
