I am still hurting today. I remembered this video. These Lyrics to this 'Amazing ' song came to my mind. They were posted on billboards in the hospital in Munson in Traverse City, Michigan, where I stayed 30 days. Steven, I wish I was one of the lucky ones to get through this nightmare. You are an inspiration with still.... a beautiful sound, beautiful look & just an Angel 😇 himself from God. I have this at 7 thirty am to listen to and try and realize I can't fly with broken wings, and just maybe before or after I die, I will see His light. Beautiful song, beautiful man, you always have my admiration!!!!! 😇 ❤

To think of how far Steven's come in his own personal recovery warms my heart so much. You can really see how much the words of this song mean to every single band member as the camera shows each of their faces. The violinist plays beautifully as do each of the musicians. I had never really listened & took the time to understand the true meaning of the lyrics as much as I did today when I heard this version. They all seem very grateful for life & you can feel the love in the room. Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece of heaven with us. XO

I kept the right ones out And let the wrong ones in Had an angel of mercy to see me through all my sins There were times in my life When I was goin' insane Tryin' to walk through The pain When I lost my grip And I hit the floor Yeah, I thought I could leave, but couldn't get out the door I was so sick and tired Of livin' a lie I was wishin' that I would die It's amazing With the blink of an eye, you finally see the light It's amazing When the moment arrives that you know you'll be alright It's amazing And I'm sayin' a prayer for the desperate hearts tonight That one last shot's permanent vacation And how high can you fly with broken wings? Life's a journey, not a destination And I just can't tell just what tomorrow brings You have to learn to crawl Before you learn to walk But I just couldn't listen to all that righteous talk, oh yeah I was out on the street Just a tryin' to survive Scratchin' to stay alive It's amazing With the blink of an eye, you finally see the light It's amazing When the moment arrives that you know you'll be alright Oh, it's amazing And I'm sayin' a prayer for the desperate hearts tonight Desperate hearts, desperate hearts

My God, imagine going to rehab and these guys show up and sing. People must of melted. We got Old Bill Feelhy playing The Gambler and Beautiful World over the PA for us and that was just what most of us needed to find our hearts again. God Bless Bill. What a good Soul. I thought he was pretty strange 17 years ago but now I totally get it. I'm sure some reading this comment will know exactly the Bill Feelhy I'm talking about. As he liked to joke " Short fat Irish guy." If he only knew how many lives he touched.

one time in Boston, Steven Tyler was on the elevator with my husband-just a chance meeting as my husband was just doing his job, Well, my husband told told me Steven Tyler started up a conversation with him, a real talk, not phony, real, Steven Tyler -you really are just a regular guy. Love that you love your children and love that you have found recovery and share your gift. Keep on....brah......

I met him not 10 days ago, we were lined up at the hotel door and he came down for some photos and autographs, and he took the time to greet each fan with a hug (a real, honest to god heart, not just for the pics) and a kiss on the cheek (our argentinean greeting) and I just couldn't believe that he was such a down to earth guy. He couldn't greet everybody in the line because we were just too many, but he promised he would come back and do it again for those who didn't get a chance. And I don't think that's something every rock star would do.

I had the same experience with Gregg Allman in 1982 at a bar in Bradenton Florida. Two o'clock in the afternoon. Thunderstorm cut my day short, stopped in for a beer, 15 mins later walk in Allman and Dickey Betts. I didn't act like a fan, hence he didn't act like a star. Just a cpl of guys talking about the rainstorm that had just past.

Amen.. have always admired him, his talents, etc.. Even after winning/being awarded full scholarships to college for music & voice, knowing I'd always be too afraid & plagued by stage-fright, not to mention the extremely rare shot it would be to even make it (anywhere) in that industry regardless... turned 'em down & took some meaningless job instead. Years & years.. good $ but just a "job".... family/kids.. Phew, would give nearly anything to go back & make a difference choice. Even "if" it never went anywhere, to know I at least "tried" would've been enough. The only thing standing in the way between a person & getting anything close to what they want.. is not simply talking about it OR expecting it to come lookin' for ya... Nope, it's just doing the actual hard work, truly believe that. Bucket list= sit & harmonize with ST... just once! Wow.. His lyrics so powerful.. his vocal talents... can always bring it ALL together, no matter the song. =) Well done, as always! :) (agree about this one.... hits home for many!) #ABillionLives (a MUST see trailer!)

When Amazing released I was 14 and it was a hit for me and my crew but didn't understand meaning of it a bit. Now I'm 44 it's still a hit but difference is I know what it means cause in this 30 years I lost my grip and hit the floor several times, go insane many times through the pain. Depression was my comrade all the way through. You really with the blink of an eye, you see the light and it's priceless. If you feell you are in pain and you don't see the light stay in dark even in the brightest day please but please look for some one or somwhere and get help. Don't keep it in you that darkness takes you to the wrong way. Take care.
