I’d say the diamonds and Steven should occupy the top 5 ranking, they’re the diamonds after all they’re ludicrously powerful. Yellow obliterates structures built FOR HER with ease, blue has defeated alexandrite and has held back pink diamond, and white diamond is white diamond, there isn’t much explanation needed for her.

Honestly I would put lapis as top 10 too, she was able to fight the crystal gems while cracked and utilise the whole of earths ocean. I know she also was able to withstand Blue’s attack, but in a serious fight she would definitely be defeated by the diamonds😅. I think i saw somewhere that Blue's aura powers are heavily misjudged because someone pointed out how Yellow's ship nearly beat the cluster when Blue's aura was activated but when Blue stopped her aura the cluster managed to regain powers and overpower yellow

Padparadscha past vision is actually quite useful. It acts as more of an insight to events that just took place, helping give more details to events that just happened or are happening. Although it may seem like she's bad compared to normal Sapphires, she definitely isn't someone to be overlooked as the many times she has actually pointed out details that directly helped not only the characters in the show but watchers by the way she points out details. Examples being when she said Lars had turned in-hue (Although that may seem obvious when it happened I didn't realize it until she said something, thx Padparadscha) and the other example being whenever she "predicted" that Lars was pressing the wrong button whenever the off colors were trying to reactivate the Nova Thrusters. If she hadn't said something they definitely would've been there much longer and then potentially put in danger again.

Proabably that's why she fought with material swords in the war. @@0..............0- Here's an interesting take on yellow's power. The only gem Yellow's power has been demonstrated to not be able to destabilize is Blue Diamond. Aside from that, we know the power itself is only affecting the hard-light form of gems. It doesn't affect the gemstone itself, or any kind of biological or physical matter. Powerful, against gems, yes. Able to take out lower ranking or durability gems than a diamond, yes. However. The power of Lapis isn't just something to be wielded against other gems. It can harness entire oceans and reshape planets on basically a whim. Simply put, what Lapis was designed to do require a LOT more raw power than what the diamonds can do. The abilities of the diamonds work fantastically on other gems, it's rather their point. The only diamond that exhibited powers that went well beyond affecting only gems, to shattering the earth under her feet was Pink. Just because Lapis' form can be poofed by yellow's gem destabilizing ability isn't really proof that she isn't stronger. If she was smarter about her move, she could have fought yellow from a place that yellow wouldn't have even been able to see her or use her powers on lapis. Remember, Lapis fought all of the crystal gems at once, from up at the edge of the atmosphere atop a pillar of water made from the ocean while her gem was still cracked, so she was weakened. It's established that Lapis can achieve FTL travel on her own, without the aid of a ship when healed. So yeah, a Lapis Lazuli that's actually trained to fight, would be an incredibly powerful gem on any planet which contains water. Her fragility is the only issue, and it'd be a non-issue if she took up the fight from several kilometers away.

I believe Jasper is much stronger than Garnet in all aspects, even emotionally. Her sheer will and determination is shown if we look at Malachite. It literally took Lapis every ounce of energy she had to hold Jasper down, but Jasper eventually overpowered her. Jasper's obsession with being the best and how much she believes in herself and her determination makes her much stronger than most realize. Another example of emotional intelligence is in steven universe: Future, where she highlighted the main problem of the series: Steven was desperately trying to help others but really he needed the help himself.

Also, Garnet was mainly losing the 1v1 until she threw Jasper into the core of the ship. While she had won, it wasn't through raw power, which the video is supposed to highlight. We watched the same show from different perspectives.

Ms. Larimar would be able to claw all three apart. Mrs. Bismuth, throughout the war, went unscratched. That’s mainly because most gems, like Rubies, Androdites, and most Quartz soldiers are not suited to fighting against Diamagnetic pulses and negative charged ions. Ms. Larimar, however, is perfectly built to he able to resist her metallurgical charges and sharp edges. Pink Opalescent Pearl, as she was made for the Pink Court, is designed for entertainment, more so than Me and Yellow. She is not built for fighting, and, though she is a great warrior, Ms. Blue had most of the Second Era Larimar made with more battle prowess than any of the pearls could hope to imagine. This may not be a definitive answer, but most of the gems assume that given practice, a Larimar can and will easily surpass a Pearl. Amethyst. I’m sorry, but what Jasper said was true. The Amethyst within the main cast was overcooked. She’s too small to be as effective as a full sized warrior. And yes, I am aware that she is an accomplished warrior, but Amethyst is too rowdy and irrational in battle as well.

I know Steven and Pink Diamond aren't the same person... but if you're ranking Steven as #1, Pink is more powerful than the other diamonds as his powers are inherited from his mother. Everything he does, minus fusion with humans, is a power inherited from his mother. This includes his "Pink Steven" form. Therefore, Pink should be of a higher ranking than she is on the list.

Yes, in his full form, he was a power house not even the DIAMONDS could stop him. So yeah he is the most powerfull + the fusion has lower cast gems who are known to be either fragile or have low power: pearl and saphire are these gems as they are fragile (espacially pearl) and need some kind of guard. As for ruby and amythyst they might be the ones contributing to obsidians physical strengths as they are tough soldiers (most likely amythyst). Note: even if Her weapon is formed by all crystal gems combined doesnt mean that she is the strongest. White diamond or even pink might be able to take down obsidian

I think lapis is placed way too high up. Yes, I agree that she can be stronger than blue and yellow but her strength is circumstantial. She's only at her peak strength when she is at a planet filled with water. and as we know, a lot of planets don't have a lot of water. Which is why there are so many gems because they are live that doesn't need water to survive unlike organic life. This also explains why lapis in the caste system doesn't have that high of a status. Blue and yellow on the other hand are always consistently strong no matter which planet they land on.

I mean yeah, but she can fly to Homeworld in a matter of days without a spaceship. And it's established that it is in another galaxy. So a lone Lapis Lazuli can exceed the speed of light without aid of a vessel. That's a seriously tremendous amount of power to do that. An amount of power that sadly we don't get to see her utilize in combat. (granted, I'm certain it'd vaporize her to slam into a diamond at relativistic speed.) That said, I think a lapis has a much higher status in the caste system than one might interpret. While all gems are below a diamond, no gem is more vital to terraforming, planetary re-sculpting, and thus the expansion and exploitation of the gem territory and its resources than a Lapis. In steven universe future with the pair of lapis gems, it's also assumed that as few as two lapis lazuli, or even one are needed for that job. I think Aubergene Perl could have served someone like Emerald. I forget the episode, but during the building of the drill or some other antics near the barn, Pearl mentions there are hundreds of pearls, so I think our perspective on their importance/power is sligtly skewed because 4/6 of the pearls we see (incliding the pearl in Rhodonite) serve(d) diamonds. The important thing to consider for some gems such as Bixbite is that they were previously corrupted, making it more complicated to rank them based on abilities we see in the show. For example, we don't actually know if Bixbite was REALLY a crab-like gem all along, or if that occurred after corruption and simply never healed fully as it usually didn't. Given this, who's to say that the hard shell and cutting capabilities are relevant?
