I feel like Onion is showing Steven his birth not because of Onion being Onion but I feel like it's his way of teaching Steven how humans are born as I feel like Vidalia must've told him about how different the crystal gems are and then heard about how Steven was made by having Rose give up her form to become Steven Pearl going to a different seat to stay away from Mayor Dewey never gets old Nightmare Hospital has to be one of the best action episodes in the series the foreshadowing of how she can't hear a heartbeat and just the lighting of this episode is extremely scary

After seeing what onion did over the season and was given a tape of his own birth. vidalia is kinda a bad mother at discipline. She let onion steal, get and explode a motorbike, breaking and entering. Not even half of what he did. And almost killed Steven under a pile of plastic capsules. Some of the stuff onion did is news worthy. vidalia it's okay to be more involved in your son personal life because he might grow up to a psychopath. And desperately needs a belt whooping for what he did.
