Stevenage Marathon Training Vlog Week 11 with NHRR FSOTM 5k

Another weekly check-in as I do my final long run ahead of a mini taper for Stevenage Marathon 2024. I also take in NHRR 1st Saturday of the Month 5k - a free, monthly 5k in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.

Ah that run to Ickleford reminds of the days I used to ride down that way on my Greeves motorcycle circa 1974. Nearly got killed on the crossing tto ( no footbridge back in them days. ). Did the Standalone 10k last weekend and did okay but some very quick times out there, your club compatriot Andrew Leach being one. Ladies course record taken down by Annabelle Gunmow and Sarah Roberts running 44 minutes in the 75+ age category 😮😮😮. See you on the start line for Stevenage marathon, 10 days to go.
