Way too cool. But how does it work? How can the pushbutton have no battery?

Have you ever tried to manually push a schnieder contactor and notice that the snubber LED lights up? Your generating a EMF through the coil of the contactor which is generating enough current to momentarly turn on a Transmitter circuit.
