That there capacitor that you’re not a fan of… is American made… And a time saver if you don’t have one on your truck. It’s expensive because it replaces a lot of different capacitors… don’t knock what you don’t understand .🤔 I believe it also comes with a five year warranty.

Great job Steve! I'm an antenna and satellite tv cable installer. At a recent job, I heard the same thing happening at the customer's house. Two AC units. One working, one buzzing. I pulled the breaker and advised the customer. The HVAC guy said I saved her compressor 😀. He changed the capacitor, and the fan still did not run. He hit the motor with his hand and it started right up! Bad fan motor.

My only concern... Molly is panting when you go back out to the truck... Dogs panting is them overheating and trying to regulate body temp back down because they cant sweat... Maybe a set of 12v or solar powered fans acting as air intake/exhaust will help get the built up hot air out of the cabin. Otherwise excellent video as usual! Keep em coming! =)

My air handler takes filter size 20 x 20 x 1. The Flanders don't fit with the filter door. Filter buy brand's actual size is a half inch smaller and I can install the filter door easily. I need to leave the door off with the Flanders or the filter gets squished with the bar protrusion. So my question is which merv 4 filter could I get in a 20 x 20 x 1 that the actual size is a half inch smaller? Or is it okay to leave the filter door off? The previous owner bought the ones off Amazon from filter buy but they are the pleaded ones. Not good for airflow.

The city of philadelphia owned pgw came to service my ac on the parts and labor plan. Two clowns came over a 2 day period, and claimed my compressor was dead (after changing a bad capacitor). With knowledge I got from this channel and others, I knew they were full of it, and called them to come out again. It turns out the clowns hooked up the capacitor wrong. Apparently the brown wire was not for the fan in this case. The new guy traced the wires, and flipping them at the capacitor was all it needed. The system is R22 and very old, probably decades.
