Brilliant stuff! I've always loved the Wicked Witch of the West and especially the melting scene. Though in the film her hat stays on to I thought maybe it you put wire through her head and fixed it inside the hat cone it would have stayed on? Great work though! 👏

Brilliant! I always wished that they had been able to do a more realistic melting scene of the Wicked Witch. For the times, the disappearing elevator was likely the best they could have done to dispose of the old crone. I suspect that if they were ever to do a remake, a more graphic melt-down would be appropriate! Thanks for your efforts! (That's a lot of work to just melt away!)

Best thing about this project, in case you didn't know, would be used as a special effect in old movies. The sculpture would be made out of wax, and had to be almost identical to the person that was being melted. From what I've heard from behind the scenes is that the wax would melt in hours, then sped up. (Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Fly-86 is all I could think of)
