I have been thinking of starting a KZbin Channel, but I haven't worked out all the details and I'm not sure what my main focus will be on yet. Years ago, we suspended a fly and also a yellow jacket, pheromone trap from some trees. These come in different container configurations into which you put the pheromone powder into water. The insect is attracted, enters, and never exists. The pheromone powder lasts a long time but the container fills up. We found something like this and tack welded a second, something similar to the metal jar insert you saved. As our pheromone and water laddened containers filled up, we would lift our screen from the bottom with all the dead carcasses then shake into a plastic bag for disposal; if you do this dont shake the pheromone laddened water where you don't want insects (or spill it on the front porch). We added water as needed and were able to get a single pheromone powder pack to last 2 to 4 months.

I've been following you for ages now. I watch each new dive. I live in Missouri in a home with no heat or cooling and no insulation. It's very cold. I watch when you pull comforters and pillows out of dumpsters and wish we had that here. The content and your giving spirit fills me with hope. I went to dump some trash A Dollar General in North Carolina it looks like they just dumped cold fresh pizzas and foods As I dumped the garbage I felt how cold it were. I went to remove one to see the date and there was someone already in the dumpster in the back corner that made a spot for themselves underneath with cardboard that was eating the food scared the shit out of me.. How did I know he was there he was very quiet but something slip down That hole he was in like burritos or something or frozen small pizza and then I went to look down that way and I've seen somebody looking up at me and then Removed a piece of big cardboard like an end cap cardboard And there he was looking at me with a surprise look on his face of guilt shame and anger! I gave him 20 bucks And told him have a blessed day

@Jody Texas Home hi jody!. I'm assuming with the question your thinking about house garbage?! Have you ever stopped for gas and had car garbage that was needed to be rid of and put "car" garbage in a trash can? Same concept, see when I was at a dollar general putting my groceries away had a Wal-Mart grocery bag half full of old napkins,gum rapper's etc.. Well, the dollar general didn't have an outside garbage can like every other store, so I I opted to throw the trash in an actual dumpster! Isn't that great! Not on the ground or just leave it in the car! Now that you've asked a personal question put of grave concern and or sarcastically driven motives,, I hope you can use you logically driven mind, practical consideration awareness, common sense and critical thinking to solve the rest of why a put garbage in a dumpster randomly,,like every other human being in this country!. . Are you the exception to the rule?

There for a while my commute included more stop than go traffic past a Goodwill. I often stopped on clearance day ($.99/ea) keeping my eye open for things for about 5 people besides myself. I didn't always guess right and shortly in, I would take things back on the next clearance day collecting my $.99 per item on a Goodwill gift card. There were no problems but I know some chuckled at the cheapness of it while my statement was that each $.99 return meant I was ready to select the next clearance item.

That Ulta must throw out make up right before the trash truck comes. I went to the one by me and the dumpster was unlocked all that was in there was bed head shampoo/ conditioners bottles all new all half to three quarters full they must have been in the process of throwing them out and I threw bottle after bottle into my car ended up with close to 22 or 23 bottles combined them and the final total was 14 bottles of each. So the reason for this was I couldn't imagine the look on their faces when they came back out to the dumpster and saw most of them gone!😳😆

@@LauraConrod im a history freak. i researched the victorian era extensively as i was doing living history in that period at the time. i LOVE to understand how people even in the earliest days of our country made their lives bearable. so, when doing all that studying, i came across how rich folks ate their meals, and they used up to 14 utensils per place setting when they had people 'over' to dine. FOURTEEN? yup. this little thing was also used in those days for the same reason i stated. the modern use for the sanitizing jar came after that. cucumber and tomato slices had the same EXACT utensil just smaller for cukes. go figure!!

Anything silver you find that is stamped with .925 should be sterling silver. Sometimes there will be other markings as well and those something are not sterling. Stop by any place that buys gold and siver in your area or pawn shop and they can tell you and will make an offer as well, lol, might be able to make a few dollars.

Wow..I just drove past office max..on a whim I checked their dumpster and they had thrown away a brand new 3 drawer filing cabinet with some dents in the back of it..still in the box..if I could have pulled that heavy thing out..I would have taken it..I'll be back to check their dumpster again..no cameras there either.

Yes we are in the Navage commercial and it does work! I use it everyday and my seasonal allergies have disappeared I love it!

There are good treasures to find in the dumpsters. I love seeing the stuff you find. Some of the things you find and use I do question. Using shampoo thats been opened I wouldn't do. Ya never know if anything else has been poured in it. Bacteria is another concern. Those things you don't need to use from a dumpster, just buy them. They are sealed for a reason.
