My daughter & I dove at a Petsmart the other day and there were tons of dog food bags unopened and not slashed but a raccoon was in there ! 😳 eeek we ran Lol so we went back a few hours later and holy moly someone took every bag ...just glad it got saved and not to the land fill any way nice finds you 2 🙌

I did my first day time dumpster dive this past Saturday and it was the best duve yet. I just stopped by staples out of nowhere and hit the jackpot on electrics so fun until i cut my hand open and couldn't stop the bleeding

My late aunt used to run a thrift store. I once asked her if she took used underwear and bras. She said, yes, as long as it’s still in good condition, everything was washed thoroughly and they’d keep them in a drawer and sell them for 25 cents each. That was a long time ago, however, and I’m not sure the store, which is still around, still does that. But you never know who’ll take that stuff.

Lion king? Toy story? Mickey Mouse? Clothes with movies or cartoon characters depicted on em should never be binned. Some kid would love them! I cleaned out my daughters clothes and got a few outgrown Disney princess nighties and skirts once, took em with me walking the dog. Hung them nicely over the back of the park bench at bus stop so u could clearly see Aerial or Jasmine or Cinderella… took doggywoo once around the block, and when we got back they were already gone. I like to think some little girl got a beaut surprise and was thrilled to take em home.

The shelves were the best ones as they looked new an they are the most useful of what was there.

You'd think the stores would recycle that metal, if the shelves don't work at least the metal could be reused. It still shocks me how much perfectly usable stuff is thrown away, and what we see here is just one couple working hard to save things in one place. Multiply that across the country and it must be worth millions that could be saved with more official efforts. The governments should make recycling not optional but mandatory.
