S.H. MonsterArts Super Mechagodzilla Review

NOW I want someone to say I "just got a fluke." Still, though, when I kitbashed the best one between the three, it's a solid figure.

I’m only now realizing that the stomach midsection piece that the plasma grenade attaches too is different from the original release. It’s much larger, and I think it’s intentionally made of a different type of material (plastic where the original was die cast?). And I think I know why. Having owned the original for a few years now, the paint on the diecast midsection would flake and scrape nearly every time I try to pop the torso off to swap the plasma grenade piece on or off.

Funny enough, I actually prefer the figure to have those little black dots as in my animation I'm working on. Mechagodzilla is portrayed as an old Mecha thats been out of service for many years.

Almost cant tell except for the midsection. And maybe the paint but im not sure how youd be able to tell the difference in the box? Is there any difference in the packaging from release to release?
