I don't think toho is trying to erase any history, godzilla's 熱線 was the original and current name for his weapon, literally meaning "heat line/ray/beam"

@@ParrotsAccount It's been a bit. If you look at marketing they're slowly moving away from the "typical" nuclear and atomic wording. No longer meltdown or explosion, it's degree designation or blazing. Old promotion used Thermonuclear Breath, more a focus on Heat Ray. Again, it's a more nuanced discussion I just commented on, I'm not wanting to get in the trenches over it.

3rd release and the teeth still look like they belong on a $5 kids toy 🙄 I really hope Hiya gets the chance to make this guy and actually sculpt the individual teeth in like was shown on all the MinusGoji promo pics from both this and Super7.

The teeth were individually sculpted and painted well in the promo photos and looked overall very menacing. Every figure I see, he looks in the middle of brushing his teeth. For $140 I expect what they show and nothing less. At $80 or less I'm more forgiving of flaws like mispainted teeth or funky eyes.
