A Platinum Scrub Whoa, source? Stimulants over an extended period have actual cases of severe brain and liver damage beyond the obligatory cardiac problems. Opioids aren’t quite the same. Opioids are rather safe over time, but deadly via overdose. At least in the U.S., the most lethal drug combination prior to the advent of street fentanyl and fentanyl analogues was alcohol used with crack. Stimulants in small doses over a long period are likely less safe than opioids in small doses over the same period. But a single opioid overdose often can result in death. A single stimulant overdose rarely results in death.

@Mirokuofnite4 жыл бұрын
I don't even know if Steve-O could do a KZbin clickbait video. Since he always show exactly what it says and gives relevant details. But yeah, a clickbait KZbinr would have something like that. "JOHNNY KNOXVILLE STABBED ME IN THE BACK!" then it would be a ten minute build up video that keeps going back to small details, a bunch of ads, and product shilling, friend/patreon shout out then the final pay off was Knoxville poked the person in the back with an umbrella in a crowded elevator. In other words bullshit.

While Steve-O was one of the biggest drug addicts that most people had ever seen, he also had a very strong and unique ability to full on commit and do things most people couldn’t. I think most don’t fully realize the danger and absurdity of his stuff on jackass/wild boyz etc. You couldn’t pay me to do a fraction of the stunts that he did throughout his career. I think he developed a very strong will and ability to commit to life threatening stunts during those years, that same will and commitment ironically enough ended up saving his life.

No doubt - I'm a recovering opiate addict, got off them in 2018, but the biggest thing that actually pushed me to stop when I did was that it was financially destroying me. It came to the point where it was teetering on the edge of, stop this now, or truly fuck up your life. Luckily had good friends, great parents, and a well-established job where they gave me a lot of tolerance. The ambulance ride waking up in the back, not knowing where i was or what happned, i couldnt remember the whole day for a good 30 minutes. Didnt remember using, it was terrifying. Had an airway in and had a massive pounding headache. I have living nightmares when i think about that ambulance ride. Thata was march 7 this year, before that i had nearly 6 years clean. The constant cycle of getting high and then dope sick. Skin crawling and the leg crawling at night was absolutely terrible. So many times i wanted to end it all and kill myself. Thankfully i got sober/clean after going to inpatient treatment for 90 days. In the last 6 years, i bought a house, had a daughter. She just turned 1. I am so ashamed of my last relapse. I lost my job as a result, right before all this covid 19 crap, I didnt know if i had a family to go to after leaving the hospital. Thankfully i did and she didnt kick me out. Here i am, now 7 or so weeks later, terrified i were to let it happen again.
