Tim Cappello is the saxophone player from The Lost Boys movie and soundtrack if you remember that from the 80s? The video is set in the town from the movie and has characters from the film fighting famous vampire slayers! Really cool! If you're into this then check out more Gunship or the genre Synthwave that this is very similar to! Heavy 80s action / horror movie soundtrack vibes. Loved your reaction. Have a great day!

Maybe it's just because I'm a big Synthwave/Movie fan but it really baffles me when these reactors don't immediately get the references.

Before The Lost Boys he was the Sax player for Tina Turner's band. He also did a lot of session work with other bands as well. Peter Gabriel, Ringo Starr and Bob Dylan to name a few.

There's an insane number of pop culture references in this music video. I love that they've done more work with Tim Capello and have even collaborated with John Carpenter.

Indiana is the woman singing and the saxaphone player Tim Capello is from the movie The Lost Boys. The other male vocalist is Alex Westway who is a member of Gunship. The other two members are Dan Haigh and Alex Gingell. All three members are all multi-instrumentalist.

Um btw he's "not from the movie The Lost Boys." He was Tina Turners Sax player (and Peter Gabriel, Bob Dylan, Ringo Starr...) before being in The Lost Boys. lol

@@TheDeadStretch I'm aware but seeing as the entire song is an homage to Lost Boys it's the better reference and makes sense as to why he specifically was chosen to feature on the song.

I remember hearing this song like a year-ish ago on Spotify just shuffling through suggested songs. And I didn't remember to save the song and I've been looking for this for a while since! This is a huge relief to find this song again... Hahaha. Really cool tune. I dig the whole synthwave vibe they have. And now that I know who made the song, I'm eager to see if the rest of their work sounds like this. As a child of that 80's/90's era, this really speaks to me. I grew up on VHS horror movies and metal/new wave on cassette. This was a feast of nostalgia filtered through a modern prism. Very very cool.

Tim Cappello is a saxophone legend. Also as a follow up I'd recommend checking out the combined Lee Hardcastle claymation with Gunship and John Carpenter for the Tech Noir video #penis gun is a throwback to Dusk Till Dawn# The references are amazing in the numbers in this song and video

GUNSHIP is great stuff, man! So many movie references in this (Lost Boys (primarily), Blade, Predator, From Dusk Till Dawn...probably more). They have some other spectacular videos to go along with the retro/synthwave awesomeness. I'd recommend Artemis & Parzival, which is the better adaptation of the book "Ready Player One", and done is a nice pixel art game aesthetic. For some good feels, When You Grow Up Your Heart Dies. Despite the title the feels are good because it's compiled fan submissions, and the love comes through. Then you need to check out the band Carpenter Brut for some more amazing synthwave; the official video for Turbo Killer is wicked.

I've never seen anyone who has reacted to Gunship before. As others have pointed out the characters in the theme of this video are famous vampire slayers. This video, and Gunship in general, was introduced to me because the person who showed me knew I am a mega Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan, and the female (animated fighting not singing :) ) is Buffy. I listen to this whole album from beginning to end. They're amazing.
