Drugging someone without knowledge is such a scary and awful thing to do. Not everyone handles everything the same. When I was 24 I was finishing out a probation sentence from Cali in PA without telling them of the move cause probation was ending in a month and my officer never called me in. I took acid with some homies and an ex friend (with a vendetta against me because he tried to sleep with my roomies girl) called me and said, "Hope you're ready for jail". I'm so glad that the molly incident is actually being treated seriously. It was shocking to see how relaxed Ari's attitude was about it, like a teenage prank. I thought, 'Someone's gonna have to sit that guy down and explain a few things, before something *really* terrible happens, or a series of just plain terrible things'. These drugs are a cheating way of tapping into our OWN neurochemical resources. These chemicals and the systems they're involved in literally decide how we feel about everything and are very precious. NOBODY has the right to take control of how you use your mind's resources, much less decide for you when you should splurge. I'd like to think that anyone who understands how deeply personal the effects of these drugs truly are and how they can upset the balance that people might be having a tough time maintaining, wouldn't go around doing this. That would be malicious. Im inclined to think that Ari is just undereducated about the effects and ethics that should be around drugs, which made him oblivious/callous to any harm caused.

yeah, but on the other hand ms negative Nancy is that those substances can also be used as medicine to heal your mind body and soul, and the healings take place more than the bad experiences do. "drugs" such as psychedelics are not cheating. what is a drug? a chemical that alters your perception and makes you feel certain feelings. is the human body not a walking drug?? when you get happy and that chemical releases and you feel happy. when you take something such as lsd and feel extreme empathy, you aren't cheating. dont ever say that again man. that feeling doesn't only have to happen when you are under the influence. that feeling can last forever if you put in the work to become that extremely happy and caring version of yourself

@@bjknngbhh That is very possible. Also baseline levels of dopamine vary from person to person. Any pleasure will cause a spike, and then a massive drop (felt as missing/craving the experience), which will be felt much more severely by someone with naturally lower levels. This hormone functions to make us seek water and food and things we need to survive (to motivate us to want things). Of course if youre thirsty enough, drinking a glass of water will be a euphoric experience. Abuse of amphetamines will ultimately spoil a person by corrupting the neurochemistry to the point where small things in life cant be pleasurable.

So, here I am with a 2 year old that I've known for 3 weeks, my wife bitching about work, the kid having seperation anxiety AND bonding with me because I'm the man, and one day my wife lit into me. My response was not me being her friend. I broke down the stress of the previous month, and it changed my wifes attitude. It was a HORRIBLE conversation, but it was something that was necessary.
