@@ChuckvanZyl That was a great set Chuck. I watched it on the day it was broadcast and it was such a cool thing to see unfold live. Last night I watched your interview about the Nightcrawlers and I thought it was a pretty amazing recollection. It was also nice to hear an artist relay an in depth story about someone other than themselves. A rare thing. It’s nice to hear stories about people discovering electronic music and their paths to creating their own. Although you included some bits about your own journey to that end, is there a longer more in depth interview with you that has that as its singular focus?
@ChuckvanZyl3 жыл бұрын
@@soarornor Thanks so much for watching that The Nightcrawlers interview. I still access memories of our friendship to this day... While I am an electronic musician, I also host Star's End Radio, and produce events for The Gatherings Concert Series, where I am constantly promoting music of this genre; so it's not unusual for me to speak fluently about someone else's music. Thank You for noticing this... Plus, I have benefited enormously by absorbing what I can of the exceptional works that I am delivering to the radio or concert audience... On 12/20/20, to mark 40 years on the air with Star's End, I took part in a comprehensive live online interview event. Please access this link to watch (that is if you've got 2.5 hours to spare) Much Appreciated: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipPVfWyijMprp6s

Especially love all the layers dancing about in the first half! Really helps to advance a meditative state for me. As an amateur at the start of his own experiments, it's enjoyable to recognize (and own) some of the more budget conscious equipment here, knowing with practice and experience that they can really sing.

@@SteveRoachOfficial Thanks for putting on such a quality event Steve. And thanks for putting up the performances as well for subsequent viewing. I only managed to see the entire first day into the late evening non stop. However I have satellite limited data internet and that day blew out all my data. Now I’m able to pull up the performances after midnight (when I have unlimited data) and enjoy. Very much appreciate it and yeah, Chuck’s Set was stellar. Perhaps interstellar.
