haven't been to A&W since i was a kid in the early 70s.. always looks forward to their root beer.. back then you had to be middle class Malaysian to eat western fast food.. people only goes there to been seen ( me think ) but ''honestly'' like you said i really don't know why the local today do that as the local food would be Michelin star category here in the UK for a fraction of the price.. i think its about time you hook up with ''mat salleh cari makan'' he knows what he's talking about.. never the less enjoyed your honest opinions coming from some who can actually cook.. looking forward to your next.. thump's up..

For me only the coney and the root beer are my favorite. You may try our own fast food restaurants chain, Marrybrown . They had been around for more than 40yrs and with worldwide branches. Only chicken burgers ( no beef burgers if I am not mistaken) and many M'sian menu. Not many video made by foreigners about this store. So we would like to hear from your view .

AnW in the morning is great when their mugs are ice cold ❄️- and the Drink become a Slushy. Last time they put too much chilly concentrate for their “Hot 🥵 Dog” Chilies and TGi Friday better but the line is Ridiculous.

Aww.. I’ve never had root beer though that’s a popular classic brand here in the USA. Coming from the UK something about the smell of root beer turned me off. They use it for ice cream floats too here. I do like their cream soda.

This is probably why even though they have been here since the 1970s, A&W just cant seem to compete with the other big players in the burger trade. False advertising perhaps? Btw, A&W is certainly not a local favourite here in Malaysia. Its only here because it has one famous outlet and thats about it! 🙂

I agreed,a&w kinda low tier fast food here The only good are corney dogs (depends on outlet, sometime they put too little corney) , curly fries and root beer , and fried chicken i put it slightly below kfc's fried chicken
