Deliver Better Presentations!
Hey everyone, I'm Steve Smith aka ardalis, of NimblePros!
This video shows you how I quickly create simple PowerPoint presentations and then improve them incrementally using simple animations and then converting busy bullet-heavy slides into individual slides per bullet. I show the same exact presentation audio being given with each of these approaches so you can appreciate the difference.

Great tips Steve. Thanks for sharing. One tip, I've found very helpful with PowerPoint, is to take a list of bullets and use either Smart Art to the Designer to generate novel ways to convey the same information.

Yep, that can also help, though I rarely like the layouts it comes up with...

This is how my slides evolve as well. The second last thing I like doing as a speaker is present a slide of "Death by Bullet Points" - only second to the other criminal slide of "Wall of Text". Thanks for sharing these tips!
