HO verses N, I believe theres more available stuff in HO than N.

That’s where you’re wrong bucko, I’ve been 3d printing my little heart out for my N Scale layout. I have boats now and little tanks. It’s resin printing too, very high detail
@Sweet-pathfinderАй бұрын
@@lvl800eliteif you can do that in N,ofc you can get more details in HO maybe

I like the bigger scales since bigger locos and rolling stock interest me more than focusing more on a scenic layout as a railroad enthusiast, PJR

I've been looking at the options in regards to older style steam loco's, and N scale seems to be the smallest, whilst still having reliability and options available. I was hoping for Z scale with a few things I want to do, but it's looking like N beats it in just about every way.

I have 2 layouts my main layout which is HO scale and another layout that is N scale and I think that N scale is a good choice of scale

My wife would probably like me to change 🤔 Typing in HO at the beginning of every search for anything tends to attract the wrong train of people or thought 😅... N ... not so much...

Best scale is 5 inch! I personally like O guage least, the models are bigger than H0 but for some reason the models generally look less detailed, less realistic and more like toys instead of models.
@michaelbujaki2462Ай бұрын
That's because you're getting O gauge. If you get O Scale, then they're much better.
@brintjeffАй бұрын
O scale can be tinplate, i.e. three rail track which was mainly toy trains hence the toy look. Two rail O scale traditionally tends to be much better detailed. All that being said, newer three rail equipment is sometimes as detailed as two rail equipment so the difference is shrinking.

Compromise, hon3 or other narrow gauge scales, large trains for small spaces

Use imperial instead of the metric stuff!!! Come on. I see more Americans using the metric system, and more Europeans using the imperial system!!! What's the world coming to!? 😮
