Thank you girl!!!! I met my husband when he was 21 and fresh out of the Army Airborne, and I was a 31yr old divorced mom of 2 little boys. We were in the collegiate officer program and in some classes together. I knew I had to go for it while I could still keep up!! We've been together now 24yrs, and married for 16. I hate when women seem to be uncomfortable with the age difference. I always felt that once both parties are legal adults in whatever state you live in, just love and be happy with each other. I know that there are some ridiculous age difference out there between some couples and there might be a shady motive behind it but, I do not feel that 35 to 56 is a bad hookup. Some women would like to be in a relationship like that and they hide behind their thoughts as to how society will look at them or the common saying “ Boy, I could be your mother”. The truth is is that your not his mother and I personally do not see anything wrong with it. Hell, I’m in my 40’s and I would date an older woman who is attractive,healthy and found me attractive. I would date a woman in her late 20’s to early 30’s if she was into me also. As long as it is two consenting adults that respect,love and make each other happy...just live your lives to the fullest. I think there's more to it then just being of legal age. Age is more than just a number. The life experiences, mental state, what you can/can't expect etc. Being of legal age isn't just enough. Ladies, I know Steve is making a llt of jokes in this episode. I wanted to point out the gem he said in between two jokes. "So when it doesn't work out, it was your idea". Men do that trick so often, ladies. They pursue you, you explain why for whatever reason the couple won't work, they say they don't mind the reason *but wouldn't want to ruin your friendship/connection", leaving the decision to you on if you wanna pursue despite the existing issue, so they can blame you for it when things go south or use it as an excuse yo use you and get out of the relationship while blaming you. I've seen it happen so often to my friends. I learned the lesson before it happens to me. If you feel that a man wouldn't be a good fit because of a specific issue, let the issue be fixed before you two get together. If the issue is not fixable, like in this lady's case, leave him alone! I am a physician, speak three languages, make good money, no debt, I'm happy, easy going, reasonable, great at budgeting. I'm still young but when the time comes I wanna be married and have children. Why wouldn't my man offer the same? If he has tremendous debt and I feel that's a problem. He better fix it if he wants me. Jennifer H I do not have a narrow minded perspective. It has just been my experience in the past. I won’t bore you with all the details but over the last ten years or so of my going out with women more than 10 years older or younger I have been asked (this is true). Money for a facelift, a new car (BMW) ,a trip back to England, money to pay off her mortgage, (twice) money to sponsor her art exhibition and a trip to Canada to see her estranged husband. All these requests came within the first four dates There was never a fifth 👀
