your air box doesn't have a gasket there is a lip on the air box lid that fits into the indention.

Hi, mine did have a gasket that goes in the groove, part number 1VJ-14462-00-00, about $6. Way back in part 1, I talk about how there were little chunks of the original gasket still in the groove. This is a model 2000, maybe they omitted the gasket in later years, but this one is supposed to have one.

Do not get the relay and toggle switch it never works I had one on my 97 Kodiak and every time I got stuck and needed it it wouldn't work I had to take it a part at least 20 times... The switch. Will work but there's a relay that goes right behind the winch that always breaks

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. For now I have not even bothered replacing the fried winch. Turns out I do not miss it that much. I do not go off roaring with it, so I rarely get stuck.

How did u get the radiator mounted up high bc mine is behind my wonch and gets to hot

Hey I got a new carb with the boots for $65 and getting a fuel cut off next.And Yes the new carb. running very good.

I assume you mean the oil cooler, because this motor is air cooled. The oil cooler is in the stock location, so I can't help you there.
