Every relationship is different and most start messy. The reason is that people are young and dumb and often don't think it's serious at the start. She hasn't 'cheated' since she realised/grew up/got serious with him. No it's not right she did it with a family member, that's a kind of unforgivable breaking point, but there is cheating constantly during a long relationship without regard of the partner, and then there are young mistakes at the start, which shouldn't mess up a future of loyalty [which is entirely possible]. Big difference.

Constantly bringing it up isn’t forgiving and it’s wasting your time as well. At that point it’s your own fault for what you’re feeling because you insist on staying with someone who constantly shows you big red flags. There’s clearly trust issues and some insecurity between the two, and I worry that it may boil over into the relationship they have with their kids. Unless they can somehow miraculously rebuild the bridge that they burned on both ends, I don’t know if this relationship is going to work in the long run, and they would just have to coparent for the sake of their kids.
