@@mwatkins03 Thats ignorant . "Weed" is a LOT. It can be used as medicine subscribed by doctors. But then it is about the amount,the strenght , and how often. Its not to get a high . But people use it as a "rekerental drug". Thats NOT what is healthy. Thats substance abuse. And when one use these drugs ,one cannot take a good lie tetector because the drug affects heartrate , blood pressure ,reactions (or lack there of)and worse ,it affect sentral nerve system a lot. So ,you shouldnt use machines,and driving is illegal with very good reasons. Your not allowed to drive. In fact, your a idiot if you do. Get knowledge. So you can be able to see the differences . Because ,what you defend , is a possibilty to use it to get the "right feeling". And you SHOULD NOT use such drug when having responsible for small children . Its like hiring a nurse who think and move in the worst slow moe ever. Sigh. What people do to abuse drugs.

It's really, really sad it goes on daily, but remember, say something, just do something anything, tell someone and keep telling until and talking until something is done. That's the most we can do. These poor poor children this baby was saved but so many die their broken bodies just give up they can only take so much and dying is the only way they can be at peace and stop feeling the pain. As the mom of my incredible adopted daughter, I'm so thankful for her birth father who signed over his rights. He was not in a position to take custody of her, and wanted what was best for her. I will always appreciate his selfless act. It took over 2 years for the birth mother's parental rights to be terminated. My daughter was placed in state custody when she was 6 weeks old, and the rehab facility the birth mother was in called 911, because the birth mother had "spanked" her. I became her pre-adoptive foster mom when she was 6 months old, and adopted her at 2 1/2 years old just after the birth mother's parental rights were terminated. My daughter was diagnosed as having cerebral palsy. She is an adult now who is high functioning, incredibly resilient, beautiful inside and out, and the best part of my life.

It kinda does actually, you heard what she passed for, she didn't even know the injuries existed that morning. There's a big difference between not even knowing the injuries existed compared to actually inflicting the injuries. What if a psycho roommate did something to the kid the night prior or in the morning without the Mother's knowledge? Ultimately, the woman passed the test which is the entire premise of Steve's show.
@nicolejohnson9244

@@DracRumminsultimately that means she’s just as shitty of a parent. What kind of excuse is “I was addicted to pot”? Garbage! You should know what is going on w/ur kids every second of every day especially a 6 week old. How did the friend notice these injuries and not the mother? Cause she’s garbage. Plus she still could’ve done it or know. If these people lie to themselves to the point where even they believe it, they will pass or if they were so high that the memory didn’t properly form, they’ll pass. He’s right, the results mean nothing!
@nickyhoward
@nickyhoward Жыл бұрын
She came on the show because she was accused of either harming her kid or knew who hurt him, which she passed. Yes, the results gave meaningful results because even though she's a crappy mom, falsely being accused of something as horrible as hurting an innocent child or covering for someone who actually did it is a stain that can't be washed off. The actual person who hurt the kid needs to be in jail.

I will say something, because I am NOT 100% on Steve’s side on this one. She failed as a parent; she chose drugs over her own son. She was truthful about her claims. She did at that point what she believed was best for her child because she knew her situation was bad and with all coming down she probably also didn’t think she would be able to recover at the time from all the things that happened. For this case, this child. She actually did what was best for the child. There is nothing more to say about it. For her second child - don’t bash her out or make her a bad mother now. She might actually be a good mother this time around. We can learn form out mistakes. She never said she wasn’t a bad mother back then. So she knows and probably struggles with it.

one thing i will say about the mom, im glad she recognized the fact that she couldn’t take care of him and decided to give him his best shot by letting another family adopt him. both of my parents are drug addicts and i wished my dad would have recognized how miserable i was and let my grandparents take me. alot of the times, drug addicts wont give up their kids bc if they give them up, they are “proving” that they are on drugs. idk, she definitely failed to protect that sweet baby, but i am glad she saw he could have a better life w someone else

thank god the mother gave her rights away. that boy is getting the life he deserves. she was a horrible person and chose addiction over her child, but thank GOD she knew to give him away, even if it was for her own selfish reasons, i believe it was the right choice overall. i hope she’s learned from her past and she becomes a better person for her child and feels the regret of what she did to him (more what she didn’t do). i’m just glad the little boy is safe and i pray that her new child is safe, too.

She is an awful human being. Adopted out her child because she wanted to do drugs, then stands there and says she has another child but has only been clean for 6 months. That means she was doing drugs while pregnant with her 2nd child. How can someone be such a piece of trash and then go on tv to admit it to everyone?

I was a heroin addict and I feel like my fight was even harder cause I e had 4 spine surgeries, hip surgery, and major heart surgery so I have horrific pain daily that I have to contend with. I was clean almost 3 years when I had my son and I relapsed temporarily and got clean again within 6 months and my kids have never seen me high. My kids mean more to me than anything in this world. I went to doctor after doctor after doctor when most people would’ve given up to make sure I was well and now I have 3 beautiful babies. You have a choice. I had a choice and I feel like my issue was more difficult because my use was a direct result of my pain and my doctors ripping me off my pain meds cold turkey cause they stopped accepting my insurance. In my po dunk town you have to travel to find a doc so that’s what I did. There can be circumstances that being you there, but everytime you pick up is a choice.

She wasn't gonna keep the kid and stop doing the drugs she woulda kept the kid and the drugs. The child is lucky she gave him up. My mom is similar and I'm so glad I wasn't raised by her I'd be as fucked up as she is. There's no point in my life where I was ever like "I'd rather be with my mom than here" If you ain't gonna do right by your kid, the. Giving them up to someone who cares is always the way to go

@@nicolejohnson9244 I’m sorry but if you had your child, relapsed, and it took you 6 months to get clean then you child was definitely around you when you were high. No doubt that you love your children, but don’t make excuses, own it. Your plight isn’t any harder than others. Many start doing drugs because of multiple types of trauma or mental illness. How would you know you had it “harder” than other people? I’m sorry you had to go through all of those surgeries but you shouldn’t make excuses for anyone who is doing drugs around their kids.

@@amandahipp9269she said "seen her high". Which would be true if that was her first child and only 6 months old. They won't remember that. However, I absolutely agree with you. I'm anl recovered addict for 7 years now and everyone's situation is different yet the same and for all kinds of different reasons. Can't blame doctors for your addiction, that's like blaming the dealer. Blame yourself, no one else.

OK speaking from actual first hand experience here. Almost lost my daughter to illness at a year old. While she was on life support the doctors told me to go home and rest. So I get why she'd have done that. Secondly, no way she wouldn't have known something was severely wrong with a 6 week old with all those injuries! So no, she's no business being a parent ...that said, she did what's right for her kiddo. The whole situation clearly showed she's not a fit parent and maybe she doesn't have it in her to be one. I do wish she'd have had the child adopted out from birth, save everyone a lit of heartache. But I can admire that she's willing to own up to the fact her child is better off with another family.

I can't really judge this girl when she didn't even know who did and Steve ya need to be a little more sensitive obviously she had to give her son up because she thought it was the best decision for him. That is not an easy situation, perhaps you can ease up on your guests and the judgement you pass on them. I feel like you have this holier than thou ego and if people make mistakes, you treat them like they are the scum of the earth.

She apparently had so many unsavory people going through her home at the time that she can’t even pinpoint who she thinks MIGHT have done it. I don’t know about you, but I’d know everyone that’s around my 6-week-old baby and who he has contact with. He was brand new! She failed to protect him and then afterwards still chose drugs and degenerate men over him and his safety. That’s why she couldn’t get him back.

Jesus Christ!!! The most common child abuse story we see on the Wilkos show. A Mother who allows a dangerous, abusive man into her home and life. Rather than putting their child/children as priority. These Mothers DESERVE to lose their children. It’s unacceptable. They’re allowing the abuse. It’s not okay!
