The thing about Stevie B is that he took his craft seriously. He wrote his songs, produced them, and understood the value of music videos as a promotional tool. He’s an actual musician, and even wrote and produced hits for many others. That’s what makes him special in my eyes. He’s the “Babyface Edmonds” of freestyle music.

The Fashion Mall was located in Plantation, Florida. It was a beautiful building with several levels, but unfortunately, it never attracted enough customers and, as a result, never filled up with retailers before those that were there began to pull out. Soon, the place was more like a ghost town, with just a few remaining retailers in a vast expanse of empty storefronts, an erie silence, and very little foot traffic. By the mid 90's, the mall was closed. It seems the majority of shoppers preferred the Sawgrass Mills Mall, which was not too far away, in Sunrise.

Out of sight, out of mind. It’s largely because advanced technology has completely caused the quality of contemporary popular music to be significantly devalued. It’s become too easy for virtually anybody to release music themselves on streaming services and generate revenue and the mediocre far outweighs the exceptional. The major record labels and radio stations just care about profit and ratings instead of quality.

That would be great if he was actually appreciated there is the number of black people in the freestyle culture but never to mention it even if stevie b is black BUT there is hope shannon was given a documentary on unsung and there was the name of latin hip hop mentioned but all it showed was breakdancers dancing to the "electro music" and definitely if there's a stevie b doc then we will have more details of what the people of the network see about freestyle.

@@brandond.rivera3010 Well the Jets were on Unsung so there is hope. But Unsung tends to focus on R & B and old school Hip-Hop.

My radio market gained a 2nd Top 40 station in '89 and that station played the hell out of this song. I enjoyed every second, too.

Sometimes I wish I could get into a time machine go back to the 80's, to one of his concerts and leave all of this Corona Virus thing behind! I'm probably not the only person that feels this way.

Late at night when I'm all alone I think of you and I'm feelin' strong Wishin' you would look my way Let me be the one My heart is achin' for that special girl To come on in and to share my world Someone to love and someone to hold Let me be the one I love you I need you girl and I need you now I'll get you lookin' at me somehow The love I have is an open door girl Come on in, lets begin, I love you I want to be the one you're givin' your lovin' I want to be the one you're kissin' and huggin' I want to be the one you dream of at night Let me be the one (Repeat 2X) I love you, baby I don't believe it should take so long To find someone I can call my own Just come more close and you'll feel my love It's a burning love, my baby My heart is achin' for that special girl To come on in and to share my world Some one to love and someone to hold Let me be the one, my baby I need you girl and I need you now I'll get you lookin' at me somehow The love I have is an open door girl Come on in, lets begin, I love you I want to be the one you're givin' your lovin' I want to be the one you're kissin' and huggin' I want to be the one you dream of at night Let me be the one (Repeat 2X)
