My first ever experience in the studio was working on this. We actually had to redo the chorus..it used to have a part in it that said.'the little voice inside me cried'...or something to that effect... Michael Jacksons people called..yes..mj..and said it was too close to the Rockwell chorus.. somebody's watching me..true story. but I digress.. .we were in Ft Lauderdale..oakland park blvd and dixie hwy..right over the tracks.. forgot the name..the hit factory I think.. at the time I was like 14..15 maybe..was a dj at a teen club in Coral Springs ..holiday springs area actually...called Club Soda..then it was called Electric Palace...as well as we djed at galaxy skateway. north and south...anyway Stevie lived across sample road from me and would ride his scooter to the teen club to me and my homeboy Mitch Bulthias to play his songs..YOYO Stevie remember!?!? Great times. we had 2live Crew there...Debbie Gibson And our local jack asses linear ..with Charlie pinacchio..who married Lisa Lisa..member? joey bang..etc. wow this brings back so many memories. So many more stories..we were all breakdancers..and the four elements of hiphop made the transition into music, art or fashion. It's Rondo.... RockFresh. Now you get it? Peace and love.
