Stevie has the unique ability to sing her songs and you can feel the story she's telling you. Putting you in a trance where you feel like you just watched a movie or just taken out of your realm momentarily with her stunning beauty and one in a million voices. Simply mesmerizing . Stevie is an absolute Legend.

Trouble in Shangri-La was such a under rated CD shame on the music industry, that said this song was so powerful and in an interview Stevie says this is the angriest song she ever wrote and it’s about Christine McVie , . When she left Fleetwood Mac after the Dance reunion and tour, Stevie was devastated she was losing Christine. It was always the two of them vs the good old boys world and were and are thick as thieves and she couldn’t envision the band without Christine. Just another amazing Stevie story turned into legendary song.

No way is this song about Christine?
@justokay4289Ай бұрын
@@babsdolson yeah i was surprized when i found this out, but in retrospect "its not enough that you say you love me" is a big refrence to chrissie's song. i'm under the assumption this was written because christine quit the band after the dance tour, but idk

Sheryl Crow is an ex back-up singer that somebody put money behind to make a Lead Singer. She had songwriters at work for her so she would have hits on the radio. Stevie Nicks is from another era and writes her own songs, her hits were made on her own merit and by real talent.

I feel sorry for Sheryl because of the fact that she is completely outclassed here by Stevie, whom she justly calls an inspiration as a songwriter. The Queen will never fall from grace with those who adore Her, and there are not just a few who do so, as if this is not already common knowledge. (By the way: Did I hear Macy Grey announce "Falling from Grace" as the songtitle?

Rob Van der Liet I agree. Sheryl is pretty and I guess her voice and songs are good if you like that type of music...personally not a fan. But watching her next to Stevie I thought the same thing....Sheryl seems more focused on looking good or cool when she sings....you can see the effort....where as Stevie is focused on having you feel what she is singing....which in effect makes her way more beautiful and effortlessly cool. Stevie is though the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. And you can tell shes not thinking about her looks when she performs....she focuses on her art. Makes all the difference on the world.

I agree the Nicks is in a different class. However, Crow is a fine performer in her own right and (her most recent album Threads is superb and has a guest list to die for - check it out). FFG is not the easiest song to harmonise on and I think she does a decent job.

Oh give me a break. Sheryl is successful artist in her own right with some good songs. Stevie wouldn't like you talking about her girl. Now.
