It’s s sad that people focus more on a woman’s weight, than her incredible talent. Stevie is beautiful, always has been, and always will be! I just saw her a few days ago, and she gave an incredible performance. At 75, she is holding up better than most younger people could!

@@aprilgosa5779it was likely her,and her record company .tbh) plus I think, like most of us,she just didn’t want to accept she was aging. Aging in rock n roll, can be tough on artists. Though, I agree Stevie was blessed with beauty. She maybe had plastic surgeries?? Who cares, that’s her biz,not mine. I do love the younger days though bc I remember, myself too !💔🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

I've loved her all my life, (58 yrs of it) and I think the same think as you do. I have gained 30 lbs in just over 3 months n I don't know why or how and I just feel like I'm stretching out my skin and it's really hard to navigate i'm serious too! From being petite all my life and now I feel like 2tonTommie (idk just made that up) but it's not comfortable and I just wish I knew what and how to gt it back in the right shape or have the fat get away and so i can feel normal again! I'm so jelly that you got to see her the other night that is so gr8 I've never seen her play live. She is everything to me. Pure Gold. 24 Karat was an awesome documentary right? Have a good day!!

Halloween night October 31 1982 I saw Fleetwood Mac perform live in Austin TX. We had decent seats and were 12th row center on the floor. Joe Walsh opened for them and while Joe Walsh was singing his big hit Life's Been Good To Me So Far, out comes Stevie Nicks dressed as a witch with a broomstick and sweeps across the stage circling Joe Walsh while he's singing. Joe then then changed up the lyrics to a verse of the song, he looked directly at Stevie and sang It's tough to handle this fortune and fame, everybody's so different and Stevie's insane. The crowd went nuts and we all had a good laugh. Joe Walsh finished his set and then Fleetwood Mac came out and gave a performance that to this day I still rank up there in the top 10 shows I've seen in my life. There was magic in the air that Halloween night in Austin. For sure.

Stevie Nicks is an outstanding song writer but she can’t sing for shit. True talent can sing without music….she can’t. Christy carried her. Today she gets a pass because of her age but it’s always been like that. Her father owned a concert venue in Tempe, Az. I saw her/them many many times. They were popular and she was pretty but it was her lyrics we all remember. Not hating on her, it just is what it is.

The strange thing is that before Stevie and Lindsay joined, Christine was in the background, then suddenly she starts writing belting hits, they must have unlocked her potential too, and it was christine that actually got the biggest share of revenue from FM because she wrote the most hits, Stevie and Lindsay had much bigger solo careers, and made a lot of money outside FM

Bit sad to read this in all caps. You sound unhinged. Did you know she didn't even want to be a "frontwoman" and had to be pushed and convinced by her bandmates? Did you know she was so "creative" and "free-spiritee" that she cheated on her boyfriend, husband, did so many drugs that she nearly broke up the band more times than anyone can count? I don't know about her music, but she is no person to look up to.

@@Mayhamsdead Not to be as harsh… BUT… if you “don’t know about her music” then what lead you here and what about her or this video spiked your interest? If you don’t know her music have you or did you take the opportunity to expand your understanding, view, taste and knowledge in music? If you don’t know about their/her/his music it makes it seem like you don’t know the artist. Which leads me to my next question….. why are you only supplying negative information? …. Anyone who knows/loves Stevie and/or Fleetwood Mac knows those very specific facts you listed. No one ever said she was a saint or all her actions/choices were perfect but her story is what keeps us in her grasp. Don’t look for the negativity in someone’s story…. 😊

Without Peter Green, Nicks & Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood would have disappeared from the rock scene years ago. Read his book Play On. When he is telling his first wife Jenny that he is divorcing her and leaving their two daughters what he remembers most from the moment are the trousers he was wearing, the colour of his shirt (green) and the cologne he had on. Only a complete and total Narcissistic person would prioritize that memory over the moment he is destroying three people lives - his wife Jenny Boyd and their children.... Stevie Nick is/was amazing.

Interesting that Lindsay refused to join FM without her. Then years later she refused to be a part of FM if Lindsay was included. Harsh.

He was very abusive towards her, belittled her & sometimes refused to help her & Lindsey himself has admitted that. Although I would have liked to see him tour with them. I’m not sure if I could handle working with my old boyfriend over 30 years later either.

@@snoops5581 It was physical abuse, too. He even did it in front of the audience in New Zealand. He threw a guitar at her, then started kicking her. Later, in California,he was strangling her in front of bandmates & managers.

That's not what happened. Tom Petty was a very close friend who recently passed and had won the same honor the year before. In her acceptance speech she talked about him, and Lindsey mocked her. She told her manager that after all of his crap for 50 years, she didn't want to work with him anymore. She quit Fleetwood Mac. She said she had about 10 years left to perform and wanted to do it happy. Fleetwood Mac decided that she should stay and he should leave because he had always been a jerk. Instead of saying he was sorry, he said that making fun of Stevie was ok because he has always done that behind her back, and then said she was bitter because he had children & she didn't. His wife had enough of his crap, too, and filed for divorce when her youngest left for college. He had a heart attack so she had to stay

Not necessarily true because many of their songs come from the turmoil so if not for what happened Rumors would never have been written. That album was career defining for all of them. Just about every song was written about their breakups except for You make loving fun.
