I was thinking the same and these guys are friends no one is in charge these guys where true friends SRV does not even over shadow double it's like there one Imo if one of the other would have passed away it would had the same effect as SRV passing away.they were 3 then four equals they became one unit sad this SRV passing was f$%# up...

Well..it's like this..why would Chris Layton just ramble on about nothing when Stevie Ray Vaughan should be doing the interview and Chris walks out like hey..Im the legend speak to me and if I can quit stumbling around I'll do the talking and I think Stevie Ray Vaughan was trying to cover up how Chris Layton was acting for the interviewer..r u with me? But..nothing has been noted that Chris got any rehab..

It wasn’t cell phones or the internet that ‘destroyed civilisation’, but the people who tried to kill FDR never giving up on destroying unions, crushing high taxes on the very wealthiest, destroying the minimum wage, crushing Glass Stegall, (which separated commercial or ordinary banking from financial services) and introducing NAFTA (US job destroyer), and finally--legalizing bribery by adopting ‘Citizens United’. Remember that the eighties were called *the me generation* for a reason-and Stevie WAS a respite from THAT.❤Live MUSIC❤ SRV and Double Trouble❤

their existence, SRV and Double Trouble’s existence DID, in fact, make John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley (thank you The Clash!) and others who were just living in pretty low income situations-die monied, as people did go out and buy blues records by these guys and others.

I believe Stevie and Tommy were both clean and sober by this time. Layton was no stranger to partying but was not in as dire of a situation as his band mates. Although he(Layton)does seem to have done a few bumps here, he seems to have some jabber jaws going on here. I remember them all being kinda hyper especially when their bus would pull in. Not sure anyone could ever say they were always amped just because they were like that naturally. @@zjenthusiast3037 Stevie?? All I can go off is what I have seen on tape. There is an instance where a blues band was playing(not sure what venue, it was small and local)around 1988 and SRV was there just hanging out. They asked him to come up on stage and he does. He played tastefully and and fit in with the group, not once stepping on anyone’s toes or showing up the other players. Seems pretty humble to me.
