They use you and emotionally drain you, and when you try to leave, they use whatever affection you have or had for them to pull you back in. They say all the right things to get you to stay, but only when you’re this close to leaving. And you can see that’s what Stevie did to both Joseline and Mimi in past episodes. Of course, I sympathize with Mimi, too. But it’s easier to sympathize with her because we see everything (post-edit) that’s on camera. Joseline doesn’t know exactly what Stevie claims he’s said to Mimi, and Mimi doesn’t know exactly what he’s said to Joseline. And what’s worse, both of them likely have past-trauma or emotional baggage that keeps them from just cutting ties and simply walking out. It’s messy, but he definitely pulled on their heart-strings. I feel for both of the women, but definitely not for him.
