I was the musical director for Solid Gold, and I can tell you without hesitation that the Part Time Lover segment was the only segment in that episode involving Stevie at all. There weren’t any other segments of him talking or singing.

@@jlusk999 That clip with Stevie came from an impromptu moment during a taping of an episode that he was on several weeks prior. And, working with Dionne was incredible. It was the beginning of a, thus far, lifetime-long friendship.

@@bigeyezzzzzzz Ahhh ok that makes sense. I thought you meant he was there during the taping of a completely different show. Your arrangements were great for Dionne. I also think she did a fabulous job of the uptempo songs she sang on Solid Gold that were not her usual album fare. I wish she would have explored this more in her recording career.
