I too, Miss those days ! Back then we had respect for elders, no matter who they were. Doing the relatively small simple acts of disobedience :some we got away with; some we didn't, and when you got caught : a "whuppin" soon followed. Children had respect because their parents had respect. Being poor was a way of life for many of us. But we were still respectful .I do miss those days. For me they were the 70s. .Peace !

Gotta look at the Stevie Wonder at Hyde Park 2016 version of this song ! Bass is kickin it and the drummers are killin it !!! THIS PEOPLE is a HAPPY flashback of growing up in neighborhoods when and where your neighbors looked out for one another and their kids ! As I used to say, when your at home you are your mama’s child. But when you’re hanging out on the street, YOU’RE MY CHILD ! I remember my brother and I getting our butts lit up and we're standing there facing the wall. I’d look at my brother and he’d be laughing while I cried rubbing my butt ! This song by Stevie just makes ME HAPPY and SAD at the same time because I greatly miss those days of growing up ! Miss you dad so much as well as you my big brother ! Rest In Peace !
