I had just gone thru 13 hours of labor, and my beautiful little girl was here. She was early, so they took her to the nursery, and put her in an Isolette. Meanwhile, in my hospital bed, to distract myself while I waited on the doctor's report, I grabbed the room phone, and called every radio station in town, and asked them to please play Isn't She Lovely, and I told them why. Since I didn't have my transistor with me, I don't know how many stations played it for her, but they all promised to. I'm very happy to say, 38 years later, she's still lovely. Thanx so so much, Stevie, for this beautiful, wonderful song. Bless you and your own little girl. I love you, Cookie! Thanx, all, for the magic, music, and memories.
