Stevie & Nolifeshaq both deserve shout outs for the job they do at catching bars. I catch 85% but I also hear some bars different ways than they do on some. So when they catch some and actually Stevie does a better job at explaining bars than nolifeshaq but he also misses some triples and quads. But I wouldn't know they were triples or quads if he didn't explain some. Em is ridiculous because he actually is throwing out bars that white and black folks hear in 2 different ways. Its amazing. I still remember how ecstatic the fans of slim shady and bar heavy Eminem were when this dropped, especially right after Kamikaze and Killshot. I truly think MTBMB would have been just as big if youtube didn't remove Darkness from trending, one of two he made a MV for. It broke the view counter, got 10 mill in a day, got removed from trending and still hit over 40 million views, just from people searching for it by name. It would have melted the internet. As big as Em is, youtube has the power to suppress a titan of an Icon and a storytelling masterpiece.

We're witnessing the birth of a new stan, folks. For real though, this is the environment Eminem grew up and thrived in - battle rap. He was the only white kid in Detroit battling. He got verbally beat down so many times that it turned him into an invulnerable monster. The dude's wordplay was forged in the fires of battle rap, and he's always kept that same mentality through his whole career. It's why he doesn't lose beefs. Battling is his real element, rap was just the outlet for the overflowing number of ideas coming out of his head. You can tell that most if not all of this entire thing was completely freestyled. He takes pauses between schemes to reorganize thoughts he had running through while he was doing his previous scheme. Eminem probably literally thinks in rhymes. There have been some savant-level artists that have been speculated to be able to think in an entirely different way than your average human, and while it makes them a little odd to the rest of us, it lets them see things like painting or rhyming or mathematics in a natural way, sort of like those artistic savants who can look at something and draw/paint it entirely by memory.
