Agreed. He makes me think of the bass player in a rock band. He might not always be front and center but the group would be so much less without him. Plus as a Spanish speaker, I get the full force of Rio's bars and flow and he is half the reason I like Coast. I would say rio loz definitely has his place. the fact that Spanish is his first language and is free to use it in a group that is fueled by their individuality is only going to open up to larger audience around the world. yeah it might make many of us English only “idiots” super hesi or lazy to want to work through the translations, but he for sure spits. i doubt he’d be in the group if he couldn’t. respect to bro and the group for embracing him whole hearted. The other 3 are just so god level it makes a badass like rio have to work harder to compete . Personally he has a presence in the group that fits so well. He’s got grit and soul. I can’t think of a single freestyle where he misses. Give up the goods is a great example. Every line in that Rio makes substantive. No filler bars at all. Lots of religious references. I get the evaluations of each emcee in the group it's what Hip Hop heads do rate and compare best bars. And the way Eric, Ras and Taj write it's easy to view Rio as "not on their level" when in fact Rio just writes differently than the other 3. Just like as brilliant as Eric, Taj & Ras are they can't write or rap in a whole other language, nor were they gifted with the quality of voice Rio has. BELIEVE that if they didn't think he was good enough to be in the group he wouldn't be. As a group, his style and what he brings to the table makes them that much more amazing as a group. They each could have a crazy solo career, but them as a unit IS like Wu-Tang. Top of the food chain!
