Where i worked in Memory Care,, the number of care staff decreased untill the NOC SHIFT,, WAS ONLY ONE CAREGIVER FOR 19 PEOPLE, DURING THE NIGHT. WAS SO WRONG. 😢😢

This is absolutely horrendous. As a retired nurse myself, I cringe hearing these stories. This Dr. Dellatorre needs to change his mailing address to a state prison and his yacht and his other status symbol items he stole from men,women and innocent babies who needed desperate medical care, this is a total disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

Wasn't Sen Rick Scott available to tell the committee how for-profit hospital corporations work so well for people? When this nurse talks about her colleagues pooling money and buying food and supplies for patients and going to extremes in an attempt to provide quality care, I believe it.

Federal government, lawmakers should step up. Hats off to this nurse exposing the realities of many many hospitals. Same story here, staffing ratio, no supplies, food low quality, equiptments not working, poor quality care etc etc. RN's donating some supplies. RN's being innovative, piling 2 blankets in a pillowcase for a pillow etc etc. But still hosp getting admissions and charges are exorbitant. One example, blood works in labcorp for $500, this hosp $13K insurance pays 5K. It's not the doctors or staff making money, it's the owners and top executives/mgmt.

This is beyond disgusting. The lack of adequate care at those hospitals literally killed people due to lack of staff and proper equipment, but they have $ for yachts? What is wrong with people?
