Stewart, McAdoo, Plessinger, & More Talk 2025 Tampa SX!

Round five of the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship took place inside Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, and the crowd was treated to one heck of a night. Following the intense action, we caught up with race winner Malcolm Stewart, as well as several other riders in the 250SX East and 450SX classes to hear how their nights went.

I am beyond proud of you Malcolm. It was time and you recognized it, embraced it and seized it. That is inner makeup that legends are made of. Beyond being a rider, I am respectful and proud of you as a man in having the courage and determination to seize your destiny out of sheer inner conviction and fire. Few can be present and harness like that. And God was definitely on your side. It was like nothing was going to go wrong around you. I had absolutely no fear of you going down or making a mistake. It was just His time for you and I'm so happy you had, and will always have, this moment and this day. Now, just maintain and solidify your position internally and make it into your profession. Like you said, make it your first day at your new job of winning. Just keep getting better and more comfortable and competent at your new job. Pace yourself and make this new phase a lasting one.

Congratulations to Malcolm Jamar Stewart (MOOKIE). 32 Years Old and got your first ever 450 Supercross Win. It has been a long time coming. May more come, but even if this is the only one much like Ricky Ryan, Josh Grant, Josh Hill or Justin Brayton like you said "We Are In The History Books Now!". I have never been so happy to see a racer get his first Supercross Win (Rick Ryan and Aaron Plessinger were close). Let's give them heck next week and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna let the kid go fishing 😉.

I agree 100%! I was at Daytona, in the stands and holding a VIP Pit pass, when Ricky Ryan won in the mud that year, it was FANTASTIC! But last night, that was a one in a million experience, even though I was at work, watching it from my iPad. I yelled out loud when he passed chase and cried listening to his father be interviewed…. The entire event! Macadoo with the smoked ACL, Jordan Smith getting a triumphant (😉pun FULLY intended) win!!! I started watching the night disappointed that Jet was out and Eli, was clearly injured…boy did that turn into something else fast!

Now Malcolm “knows”. In his heart and body, he knows the win. Dude has always had the speed, but now he has the head for it. I fear(love!) there is another guy in the mix with Chase, Cooper, Lawrence, et al. What a night! Between Malcolm, Mcadoo, and Jordan/Triumph, it was the perfect Motorsport, athlete, story of heart. How the rest of the world isn’t seeing that Pro-motocross in the US is the BEST sport to watch and follow, I will never understand!

Is Justin cooper should do Woops all week only. If he can’t skim he needs to step down from star and give his spot to someone who can race the whole track. Frustrating to watch him get passed over and over every week there. I’m a fan but tired of it.

I agree It's like he wants to be a pro racer he wants the paychecks he wants the life but he will only take a win if it is completely handed to him and he is unwilling to take any risk to improve his position on the track he simply is a glorified test rider And it sucks because he has so much speed and he seems like a nice guy And I've been a fan of his for years but I find myself this year just like you so frustrated I can't keep rooting for a guy who doesn't want to try

@@cactitiger that's just it he's got incredible speed but he will only ride around the track he will never race the track he is unwilling to take any risk He will settle for whatever place he is in as long as he doesn't have to take any risk and it's hard to root for a guy who doesn't even want to try
