280z Front Suspension is IN! + Mustache Bar/Control Arm Bushing Removal

It all went together fairly smooth. Just a lot of work to get those rear suspension bushings out. But the front suspension is in and so close to being a rolling chassis! PS: I've already got the rims :)

FYI: I did end up having to punch out those inner sleeves for the rear control arms to fit the bushings. Directions were confusing!

Those steering rack bushings always came that way .great progress Tc bushing thing all the abuse they take I'm sure modern rubber compounds are better than the seventies. That's alot of harsh pounding transfer. Great progress I pulled pinched a shoulder nerve I fell two weeks behind so I love watching where I will be ha. Awesome

Is that a steel wire brush you used for cleaning the inners of the control arms? I’m looking for something like that to strip the tight spaces on the front spindle assemblies.

I have a Datsun 120y that Im trying to work on and learning from but not a heavy Project as you, i want a Z soooo bad But here in Norway where i live just a Project costs to much haha But hope i can Get one and start on a project like This!

That's really cool, you are so far away! Ha. Yeah this project was cheap. Which is why so much work had to be done. It's funny cause when I went to look at the car I was ready to walk away from it but my gf talked me into buying lol

I was rewatching this video. You say here you have one side of the car had urethane on the tension rod and the other side of the car has rubber. It should be on each tension rod you have rubber on the front side and urethane on the back.. And race car set up should be urethane on the front and rubber on the back side of the mount. As you are now driving your car ..I'm sure it's dealt with.
