@@Anson120 I have been thinking about for a while and researched long ago, before I bought some but it is such a fine tolerance that it's really hard to match.

I'm too tight to buy proper nut files. I did get a 0.010" saw from a model shop, and that's very useful. Otherwise, I've wrapped 1000 grit abrasive paper around feeler gauges with good results. It's ok going DIY for work on my own guitars, but if this was my job I'd invest in professional tools. My levelling beam is the fence from my circular saw, by the way!

@@1man1guitarletsgo haha nice. Yeah, sometimes the higher price is worth it (like my StewMac nut files) especially when using it every day. I'll have to try that with my feeler gauges and see how that works myself.
