It's gonna take a while to get used to this loop, I'm focussing more on the loot boost favour. I'm more annoyed that we have yet another loop/grind added, with nothing taken away elsewhere.

Only take away, really is the ability to spend exborg on the extra loops... also tucker when/if obtained will speed up the voyager grind i suppose!

Love all that it offers. Hate that it's another full loop and grind on top of everything else, with nothing else lessened or eased. I think this, however, is way "easier" to max than all the Wave favours and pulls. As always I FARRRRRRR prefer THIS type of loop, which is totally dependent on only me. My time, my choices, my crews, etc. Anything where you have to rely on groups of other people is nigh on impossible to go far in. If there has to be a grind/loop, please keep them solo, like this.

When grinding introductory level with my amalgam, am I supposed to be aiming for the reptiles or the aquatics? The aquatics fill up the cargo hold super fast and the reptiles are super slow. Or should I just shoot at whatever and go for it?

Thanks for the video even though it just cemented my view that this loop is not accessible for me currently. I'm OP54 and have not focused very much on having the strongest ships for my OP level. I do have a 95M power Vor'cha which can do anything I previously needed in the game (I don't need PvP). The loop is clearly set up to expect I can kill level 51 Xindi (with how much a chest costs at OP54), but I absolutely can't. So, until something changes, I'm just not doing it :(

The amount of loot that you get from these hostiles is worthless one per kill?

so since launch Scopley has confirmed that those hostiles of level 34-35 are there purely for missions really, if you can not kill the 40s, then basically you are not ready for the loot. not saying i agree, that is just the word we have about why it is so low :-)

I keep trying, but both my Augur and my Enterprise get blown up if I try to take on level 40. Even with the isolytic damage crew that I managed to fulfill the Gorn missions with. So I’m stuck grinding with the Amalgam low level.

I enjoyed the video, thank you. The trade down feature is a bad idea, every other faction store you have more than enough of the UC stuff and never enough of the rare and/or epic. This is even more of the case since the last two day I have not received any rare or epic ex-borg credits and did double pulls each day. The Xindi ships have very low stats for Armor, SD, and dodge, so using the trinity officers does not have much effect. The higher the level they do increase do for lower levels they are less than 10k.

when hitting hostiles that far below the level, there's really no need for additional piercing, and even mitigation. these hostiles have relatively low mitigation/piercing

Slightly off-topic but relevant in the moment. I'm finding the Arc Runner's choice of hostile hunts a little over the top given the amount of new grind that was introduced. Day 1 should have been something like ATA's to let people ease into the Xindi's. Today is a bit crazy with Freebooters/Jem'Hadar PLUS DQ hostiles. A little excessive. ... back to grinding Xindi's

The lag in the xindi systems is stupid bad

isn't harrison useless there? you bypassed the shield in round 1, but at the end of combat the enemie's shield is gone, which means you haven't gained anything from bypassing it, you just dealt the damage to the shield in later rounds. IF the ship had any shields left when hull reached 0, then harrison would have been usefull, but not in this case.
