Oh my god!! I am absolutely blown away by the quality and complete breakdown of this video. The fact that this exists is incredible and I'm perplexed this doesn't have thousands upon thousands of views!!! I started playing DDPD last week and within in no time I was consistently making it to the laser wheels in stage 5 but that's, ultimately, where my runs would end. This changes everything. I'm going to commit to learning this and cannot thank you enough for putting together such an invaluable video. Still blown away that this doesn't have more views. My current "strategy" has been to piss away 6 bombs and as many hypers as I build during the wheels but I'm totally devoted serious time and practice to cleaning this up with the method shown here. Haha thank you, this is by no means a big channel at all but also this video came out more than a decade after DFK's release so the going rate on it is basically people slowly arriving late to the party and wanting to figure out what to do about wheels. Thank you though, it shocked me nobody tried to do anything like this since it's original release so I took it upon myself to step up.

I'm almost exclusively on Switch so I'm definitely late to the party but even watching a number of people do 1cc runs, I'm amazed how almost no one does the laser wheel section efficiently! That being said, I've practiced the strategy so far and it's definitely tough! Sometimes even getting things set up and entering at the first bee indicated is tricky - so I can see this taking some serious time and dedication but the alternative it having a shitty time amidst the wheels otherwise. Thanks again!

Glad it could be of use, it eventually got sad to see people who would equate laser wheels to this impossible thing that’s preventing them from playing the game further, so I made something that should hopefully act as a basic strategy all ships should be able to follow

I dont understand why you can build up the hit bonus by shooting the enemies then all of a sudden it turns red, disappears and resets back to zero even if you are still shooting the enemies?

The window to keep hitting and not lose the chain passed by ever such a tiny sliver unfortunately, I was lazy that day and didn’t re-record just so I could focus on the main task at hand.
