My wife and I watched Toorbos on Sunday and we were blown away. This is hands down one of the best South African films I've seen. Absolute world class. The period is so beautifully created. The acting is phenomenal. And of course, Dalene Matthee's story is just beautiful and Rene van Rooyen really got the essence of the book into her screenplay. I really hope this film is successful. You can tell everyone involved put their hearts into this.
